Who Avivas Accounting is
Avivas Accounting has served Miami families and small businesses since 2007. Its founder, Yulie Nibot, is an Enrolled Agent: a tax professional licensed by the IRS who, with the client’s authorization, can represent them before the IRS. The office handles:
- Personal and business taxes, for individuals, families, corporations, partnerships and the self-employed.
- Bookkeeping and payroll for small businesses, all year long.
- IRS help: audits, payment plans and Offer in Compromise.
Where they started
The old site was in English only and hadn’t kept up with the office. Some pages were still waiting for content, and it didn’t show the most important thing about Avivas: that an Enrolled Agent can do more for a client than prepare a return. Many of the office’s clients speak Spanish, so a second language wasn’t a nice extra. It was the point.
What we built
We designed and built a new site with 18 pages in English and the same 18 in Spanish:
- Home, with two clear next steps (book an appointment, upload documents) and a live “Next tax deadline” card that counts down the days, with a switch for personal or business deadlines.
- A page for each service: personal taxes, business taxes, bookkeeping, payroll, IRS audit help, IRS payment plans and Offer in Compromise.
- “Got an IRS letter?”, a guide to the most common IRS notices. Clients pick the number on their letter and read what it means in plain words, how soon to act and how Avivas helps. A sample letter with notes shows where to find the deadline and the notice number.
- About and Meet Yulie, with the founder’s story, her approach and what an Enrolled Agent means for a client.
- A tax season checklist of what to bring, with a PDF to download in English or Spanish.
- Book an appointment, where clients choose what the visit is about and see exactly what to bring.
- Upload documents and Contact, plus Privacy and Accessibility pages.
The look is new too: deep green on a light ledger-paper background, calm and easy to read, designed for phones first.
Details that matter for a tax office
- Documents never go through the website. The upload page sends clients to Intuit Link, the secure client portal Avivas already uses. The only form there asks for a name and contact details to request an invitation, and the site tells people plainly never to send Social Security numbers, tax returns or bank details by email or through the site.
- Credentials, explained. A simple table shows what an Enrolled Agent can do compared with a preparer who has no professional credential, such as representing a client in an audit or a collections case.
- Spanish written for the office, not translated. The Spanish pages have their own addresses and speak to clients as “usted”, the way an accounting office would.
- Careful wording. Deadlines and IRS letter notes are labeled as general information, so nobody mistakes the website for tax advice on their own case.
- Search basics. A clear title and description on every page, a sitemap with both languages linked as pairs, and share previews for every page.
A good website for a professional office answers the questions people are nervous to ask: what this letter means, what to bring, how to send private documents safely. That calm is what turns a visitor into an appointment.
